Jeremy Steinberg has been giving clinics at Creekside twice a year since the Fall of 2001.  He made his first appearance at a national venue at the 1996 USDF Young Rider Championship where he earned Individual Gold and helped to win the Team Silver for Region 6.  Since then, he has gained much attention in regional and national dressage press as "one to watch" among world class US competitors.  He has been featured by numerous magazines over the years.

For more than a dozen years, Jeremy trained with the late, renowned German master, Dietrich von Hopffgarten.  Jeremy also rode at the Gestut Vorwerk in Germany, training with Martina and Ralf Hannover, long time pupils of the late Herbert Rehbein.  Jeremy now trains annually with Guenter Seidel and USET Coach Klaus Balkenhol, along with Debbie MacDonald whenever the opportunity arrises.

Jeremy's 2001 accomplishments included a highly praised appearance as demo rider at the USDF Isabel Werth Symposium and as a competitor in the USET Fesitval of Champions, an invitation-only event featuring the top 12 FEI riders in the nation, based on scores from regional championships.  Jeremy was a demo rider during the 2002 USDF Convention's symposium, held at Devonwood and led by Debbie McDonald.  In 2007 Jeremy and 2 of his students, Canadian trainer Courtenay Frazier and Junior Taryn Briones, were demo riders at the  USDF FEI Level Jan Brink Trainer's Conference in Sacramento.

Jeremy and his FEI partner, Olson's Parocco, had extremely successful show seasons in 2005, 2006 and early 2007 at Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle. This exceptional partnership resulted in their making the 2007 US League Final and earning an invitation to compete in the invitational competition at the World Cup before Parocco's well deserved retirement.

Jeremy and his next partner, Elisienne (Lily), owned by Jessica Lyman, were the 2008 Region 6 USDF PSG Champions in 2008 and debuted at  Grand Prix in 2009.

Jeremy operated his business, Steinberg Dressage Training, in Southern California and Colorado before returning to his home area of Seattle in Spring, 2002. In 2004 Jeremy took a 4 month break from his own business to run Robert Dover's training business in Wellington, Florida while the Olympian was busy traveling and competing as a member of the United States Dressage Team.

Jeremy trains and instructs at Lucky Horse Stable, Cheryl Capriola's facility in Redmond, WA (www.luckyhorsestable.com).  Jeremy teaches daily lessons to riders of all levels, as well as riding up to ten horses per day, training and showing horses from Training Level through Grand Prix.  Jeremy enjoys teaching, emphasizing an environment conducive to learning classical dressage and good horsemanship.  His goal is for students to understand the basic philosophies of dressage, enabling them to work successfully with their own horses.  Jeremy has become a much sought after clinician in the United States and Canada.  For more information, Jeremy's complete 2009 - 2010 clinic schedule, and Jeremy's training BLOG visit www.jeremysteinbergdressage.com.
