Creekside trainers offer year round training and instruction for all skill levels.  Lessons are both group and private.  Some students haul in their own horses for lessons.  Many students use one of our school horses for a small additional maintainance fee.
Katrina moved to Billings, MT to teach English and Jumping in the Equestrian Studies program at Rocky Mountain College from 1993 - 1997.  Beginning in 1995 Katrina also owned and operated Huntley Sport Horse Stables in Huntley, MT.

January, 2002, after spending nearly four months in Germany, Katrina received trainer/instructor certification from the International Academy for Equestrian Studies, Warendorf, Germany. Upon her return to the United States, Katrina was the Trainer and Instructor for English, Dressage, and Jumping at Creekside Ranch through March 15, 2008.  Katrina trained and showed through 3rd Level Dressage.

In 1990, Katrina Tiensvold earned an Applied Associates of Science degree in Equine Studies at Northwest College, Powell, Wyoming.  Following graduation, she returned home to Reno, Nevada, working for three years as a training assistant at Maplewood Stables, an "A Circuit" Hunter/Jumper barn.
May, 2001 Tom Ramlow earned his B.S. Degree                               (Cum Laude), Equestrian Studies at Rocky           Mountain College, Billings, MT, specializing in training and instruction.  During college he served summer internships with trainers Scott Neuman, of Billings, MT and Don Murphy, of Brentwood, CA.
Many of you are aware that March 15, 2008 was the last day of Katrina Tiensvold's 6+ year tenure as Dressage Trainer and Instructor at Creekside.  Those years provided an exceptional learning opportunity for her students and the horses whose lives
she touched.   Katrina guided us with great skill, dedicated commitment, an unfailing sense of humor, and never ending patience.  We will miss her every day, but wish her the best as she continues her dressage career.  Creekside will not have a permanent Dressage Trainer & Instructor for the foreseeable future as Katrina's "shoes" will not be easy to fill.  Until we find that perfect candidate, we will continue, with your support, to bring in a few select dressage clinicians on a regular basis - see Calendar & Info page.

11/15/08 update!  Katrina  is located in So. California, working as a Training Assistant to FEI rider Kristina Harrison-Naness (see Aug. '08 "Dressage Today" cover below!!)  We hope Katrina will visit Billings now and then and teach lessons at Creekside.
Good Luck, Katrina - it was a great ride!
